Software
The Casino Online was developed by Realtime Gaming and runs on Windows and requires a download. The size of a download is about 12 MB for a complete casino. You first are offered to download the basic part of the casino and then to add any desired games later on.
| Minus points
 | The Casino Online did not offer many slots. The redemption procedure at The Casino Online got complicated when withdrawing more than $200: You had to send them a fax containing a copy of your drivers license, credit card statement, and utility bill. They claimed they were "certified" by Safe Bet which has three levels of certification: Platinum, Gold and Silver. Only casinos which use the same software as The Casino Online are in the top two categories; in fact, all online casinos using this software are in there. The Casino Online allowed and used pop-ups. |

There have been reported other negative features:
 | The Casino Online is / was not paying players, went bancrupt and similar. |
 | The Casino Online is / was using Real Time Gaming software. There are many and more players that have played at Real Time Gaming powered casinos and are owed a small fortune in winnings. The casinos owing the money shut down operation and split. Other RTG casinos have refused to pay big winners, share databases and locked out Danes but did not refund deposits of losers. Playing at RTG casinos that are listed in our blacklist is not worth the risk. There are some RTG casinos though that have never caused any difficulties but rather the opposite. You can find cetified casinos that have never caused any troubles in our Directory. |

| Positive
The Casino Online featured 15 different video poker machines, all of them offering payouts of more than 98% plus the best paying video poker machine you could find online: The Casino Online's Joker Poker machine with a payout of 100.18%. The Casino Online had very good odds on all of its games. The customer service and payment processing was usually very fast. The graphics loaded fast and looked great. Their downloadable software was fast, fun, and easy to use.
| Licence
It is not known whether this casino is licenced or not. To have a gaming license means that a casino is able to 1) deposit enough money yearly as a financial backup for players (approximately US $50,000 up to US $100,000 per annum), 2) pay the taxes (of about 2,5% up to 5%), and hence 3) is subject to the control of the government that issued the gaming licence in case of any disputes.
