Two cards are dealt with the start of the game, one to dealer and other to player and then compared to see who has higher card. Higher card holder will be the winner. This game has a pure 50-50% chance of winning and loosing. Tie bet pays 10 to 1 on amount bet. When the tie between dealer and player hits, surrender or war gets triggered for a chance to win 10 times the bet amount. Player must bet on tie bet to win 10 times the bet.
