The recent decision of committee in SOIS (State of Iowa Senate) has accepted the bill for implementation of regulated and legalized online poker game in the Midwestern States of America. In addition, the recently accepted bill would facilitate intrastate, interstate and international betting online betting among the players. The approval has obtained as the result of oppositions from opponents, who have mentioned that online poker could easily result in addiction to be forerunner for various other forms of online gambling.

The challengers have included Family Leader conservative groups. One of the previous state legislators, Danny Carroll has shown his concern towards the problem. According to Danny Carroll, “The people of Iowa do not have the requirement of online gambling.” In spite of the pleading and imploring of Danny Carroll, senators of Iowa have decided to send the bill for having decision from SSGC (Senate State Government Committee).
