Apparently, the New Hampshire lottery is going to postpone the scheduled July 1st opening for its online casino site. Lottery officials criticized lately that there was no proper notification to legislators regarding the plans to run an online gambling website and this caused them to announce yesterday that the start up of the gaming site is going to be postponed to give "time to educate state leaders."
The Internet gaming was created by lottery executives in order to fill a gap between planned and realized incomes by the state. Lottery earnings in New Hampshire are going down around $7 million short of the predicted total of $75 million.
